(105KB PDF) The first day opened with 4 outstanding Keynotes from Merck, Pfizer, GSK and Novartis, who shared their vision of how China is becoming an integral part of their global R&D strategy and the areas at which they are focusing on. This was followed by an interactive and dynamic exchange between Research Directors of multi-national corporations based in China and the local home-grown pharmaceutical giants. The most unique feature of the event was China's Top 5. This session featured leading experts including Dr. Rao Zihe, Dr. Wang Xiao-Liang, Dr. Xu An-Long, Dr. Ming-wei Wang and Dr. Tao Peng. These presentations shared highly innovative research that will propel China into the next generation of innovative research in the coming years.
