The following 3 Awards will be presented at the China 2010 Pharmaceutical R&D Summit, on Tuesday April 6, 2010 during the Awards Dinner.

• IBC China Scientific Discovery of the Year Award: recognizing the most significant discovery in life science in China
• IBC China Drug Discovery of the Year Award: recognizing the most significant achievement in new drug R&D milestones
• IBC China R&D Award: recognizing outstanding individuals whose contributions changed the landscape, reputation, and ecosystem for drug R&D in China

Nominations of candidates: to nominate a potential candidate for the awards, please download the Nominations Form and return the completed form to Mimi Langley at mlangley@ibcusa.com by February 25, 2010.

Awards FAQ's:

Will Nominators need to submit any information for screening? Yes, by completing and returning Nominations form before February 25, 2010.

Do I have to be a registered attendee of the conference to submit nominations? No, you do not need to be a registered attendee to submit your nominations.

Will the candidates being nominated be notified? No, only the final winners will be notified.

How will screening and final selection be done? Screening and final decision shall be conducted by the advisory committee based on achievement, impacts, and influences of the individuals/companies in their respective award category.

When will the final selection be made? Final Decision will be made by the advisory committee by March 1, 2010.

When will the finalists be notified/announced? Finalists will be notified and invited by March 1, 2010. Announcements of Finalists will be made public by March 7, 2010.

Will the finalists have access to the conference and Awards Ceremony? Yes, finalists will be offered complimentary registration to attend the 2010 China Pharmaceutical R&D Summit (April 5-8) as well as the Awards Ceremony and Dinner.
