IBC Life Sciences on Twitter
Twitter is a real-time information network powered by people all around the world that lets you share and discover what’s happening now.
A part of our on-going effort to connect with our conference attendees is bringing them together into a professional network of shared ideas and talents. In light of that goal, we are making increasing use of social media tools to reach to them and to allow them to more easily engage with us.
On Twitter, we make conference announcements, provide industry information, and offer discounts and Twitter-only specials. However, Twitter is designed to be a community and we are only one part. We would like your help in growing our life sciences communities.
Our Twitter Accounts
- @ibcusa - the IBC Life Sciences main account, featuring news from all our events as well as the life sciences community as a whole.
- @IBCBioprocess - the account for the events in our Biopharmaceutical series, including BPI USA, BPI China, and BDP Week.
- @DrugDisc - the account for the events in our Drug Discovery series.
You can easily help make your conference experience an even greater success by expanding outside the physical walls of an event and onto Twitter.
Joining Twitter
- Navigate to http://twitter.com and click the "Sign Up" button after the intro paragraph, or simply navigate to https://twitter.com/signup. This will take you to the main signup page.
- Enter your full name, username, password and email address.
- Finding Sources That Interest You: search for ibcusa, IBCBioProcess, drugdisc and anyone else you would like to follow. Be sure to click "follow" next to the apropriate search result.
- If you already completed the sign-up process and did not follow @ibcusa, @IBCBioprocess, or @DrugDisc, navigate to one or all of them then click the "Follow" icon at the top-left beneath the page logo.
