Call for Proposals for Innovation Showcase at TIDES®

Did you know that emerging companies or anyone with truly novel technology in development has a chance to present their capabilities at AsiaTIDES or TIDES?

There is also an opportunity to give a fifteen-minute presentation to many of the 700 members of the global oligonucleotide and peptide manufacturing and development audience who attend TIDES.

Eligibility:
The Innovation Showcase is seeking presenters who are developing unique technologies and products which have not been presented at a TIDES meeting before. Your technology should be at a relatively early stage of development.

Proposal Guidelines
TIDES (US) Deadline: March 1, 2010

Please send a proposal of a maximum of 250 words in a word document including the following information:

1. Company overview – brief history, founding scientists, scientific advisory board members, and key IP (intellectual property).
2. Publicly available financing information to date
3. Technology description
4. Your objective in presenting (examples: to identify new research collaborators or business partners, to secure additional venture financing, etc.)

Judging Criteria:
Proposals will be judged on novelty of technology, unmet medical needs, and feasibility of commercialization.

Proposals must be received no later than March 1, 2010. However, proposals will be reviewed on a first come first served basis and presentation time slots may fill up before that date.

All presenters will be notified by mid-March if they have been chosen.

Important: You must register and pay conference registration fees in order to receive confirmation to present in the Innovation Showcase.

TIDES deadline for conference registration and payment of fees: March 30, 2010.
