For years, "Personalized Medicine" has been touted as the next wave in healthcare but progress to-date has been limited. Has the industry over-estimated the "value" of personalized medicine? Or has the industry been subconsciously slowing its progress for fear of the loss of profits from traditional blockbusters? Is it regulatory and reimbursement issues? Or is it technical /scientific challenges that has yet to be resolved?
If personalized medicine is an inevitable happening, how then, can one best approach and adopt it as part of your drug development to clinical strategy? From the pharma's perspective, do you acquire, grow organically or partner with a diagnostic company?
All these questions have been raised by you and your peers in the field, wanting to know what are the signs and what the next steps should be.
At IBC's 2009 Personalized Medicine conference, we will highlight some of these pertinent questions and engage the best speakers to share their experiences with you! Join us in December 10-11, 2009 in San Francisco for a 2-day highly charged and influential conference on Personalized Medicine - Revolutionizing Drug Development.
