Scientific Poster Presentations

Discovery2Diagnostics is focused on providing the highest level of education through speaker presentations as well as scientific posters. More than 80 posters will be displayed in the exhibit hall to enhance your experience at the conference. Scientific posters are a valuable learning vehicle and we encourage you to display your work at this year's Discovery2Diagnostics conference.

Posters will be accepted until September 30, 2008. Poster slots fill up quickly so please submit your abstract today*.

Abstracts must be submitted online for a guaranteed poster slot.

Scientific Poster Presentation Contest

All accepted poster presentations will automatically be entered into the D2D 2008 Poster Presentation Contest and will be reviewed by the D2D Executive Poster Committee. The Executive Poster Committee Judges will narrow the Scientific Posters down to their Top 10 Picks. These 10 posters will then be announced in the exhibit hall during the evening cocktail reception. In addition, attendees will vote for their favorite poster presentation onsite. The winner will qualify to give a presentation at D2D 2009.

Poster presentation guidelines: You must be a paid attendee, including the $100 poster fee for industry attendees. There is no fee for academic/government attendees. Submissions must be received by September 30, 2008.

Executive Poster Committee Judges

  • Bob Matson, Ph.D., FACB, Senior Scientist, Beckman Coulter
  • Paul Kayne, Ph.D., Senior Research Investigator, Bristol-Myer Squibb
  • Winston Patrick Kuo, DDS, MS, DMSc, Director, Laboratory for Innovative Translational Technologies, Harvard School of Dental Medicine

* Due to limited space for posters, each attendee is limited to one poster and companies will be limited to no more than two posters for the event.
