Over $3 billion worth of deals regarding siRNA (small interfering RNA) have been forged in the last three years alone. Merck's recent purchase of Sirna Therapeutics is one example showing that big pharma has confidence that therapeutic siRNA can be harnessed to open a new frontier for drug development. Hear Merck's perspective on the utility of RNA therapeutics, including opportunities for vendors and external parties in the RNA synthesis, delivery, and pre-clinical space-and why the potential is so great.
